One issue you may experience with Google Cloud Hosting Of A Bitnami WordPress website is that your site may stop loading and when you go check your virtual machine in GCP you see that your site address and admin url come up as null:
I will show you one possible fix for this that may save you some time.
First make sure you are logged into Google Cloud.
Then go to Compute Engine and select VM Instances.
The first thing you need to do is to make sure your instance is running. If your account was suspended by Google Cloud for possible malware then you will need to manually restart your instance. Make sure the status is a green checkmark. If not select the box next to your instance and click the start button at the top.
Next select your Instance by clicking on it.
Look For The Edit Button At The Top And Click It.
Scroll down until you see the firewall options. Make sure HTTP and HTTPS are both selected and click SAVE at the bottom.
Now go back to your WordPress deployment by looking for deployment manager and selecting Deployments.
Click on your deployment:
Hopefully you now have a working IP Address for your website:
