Adobe Express (Premium Educational Access) is a user-friendly creative app that helps students design engaging social media posts, graphics, and more – no professional design experience needed. Setting Up Your Brand Kit in Adobe Express

Brand Kits in Adobe Express allow you to maintain a consistent look across all your content by storing your logos, colors, and fonts in one place. Follow these steps to set up a brand kit for your student project or organization:

  1. Create a New Brand: From the left-hand menu on the Adobe Express home screen, click Brands. Then click Create new brand.

Enter a brand name, and click CREATE.

Upload Your Logo: Inside your brand kit, click the Logo section and upload your logo files. If it asks to create a color palette from your logo skip that for now.

Set Brand Colors: Use the color picker or enter HEX codes. Add all the colors.

Choose Brand Fonts: Assign header and body fonts.

Access: Your brand kit saves automatically and can be accessed anytime from the Brands section on the home screen.

Creating and Reusing Branded Templates for Recurring Posts

1. Select a Template:
Begin by navigating to the Templates section in Canva. Use the search bar or browse through categories to find a design that aligns with your intended post.  You can select the output type. Click on a template to preview it, then select Customize this template to open it in the editor.

2. Apply Your Branding:

In the editor, click the Brands panel on the left, select your brand, and then click the Apply Brand button. This will automatically update the template with your brand’s colors, fonts, and logos.​

3. Customize Content:
Update the template’s text and images to suit your specific needs. This might include changing headlines, body text, or replacing images to match the current campaign or message.

  1. Finish your design in the editor (make sure your branding is applied).

  2. From the left-hand menu, click Brands. You may need to go to the home page first to clear out your design.

  3. Select your brand kit.

  4. Go to the Templates tab within that brand.

  5. Click Add templates.
