How To Use Ai To Write A Blog Article For You

There are a number of AI writing tools available that can help you create decent blog content. These tools use artificial intelligence to generate text, translate languages, write different kinds of creative content, and answer your questions in an informative way.

You need to be careful with content written with AI as it can be generic, incorrect or repetitive. With the current Iteration of AI you cannot simply put in a prompt and copy and paste the output that is given to you.

This article will use the Google AI Bard, to write a blog article for a Fort Collins Asian Food restaurant that my students helped with digital marketing.

Project Overview:

As part of a content marketing strategy we want our Fort Collins Client to come up on multiple searches related to Fort Collins Asian Food. So were are going to create pages for keywords such as Sushi Burrito Fort Collins, Best Pho Fort Collins , Where to Get Filipino Food In Fort Collins, etc.

A good way to come up with what people are searching for about a certain keyword is to go to Answer The Public which I wrote about in this blog post here.

This article will focus on creating a blog post titled “Where Can I Get A Sushi Burrito In Fort Collins?”

To start we can load up Bard and do a quick prompt to get an article generated.  (I am not using the name of the restaurant in this post as I do not want my website popping up when people search for the client.)

That prompt gave me the following output.

It is actually a pretty good start but there are some things I do not like about it. The information can be a little generic in parts. For example the introduction explains what sushi itself is rather than emphasizing that a sushi burrito is monstrous oversized sushi roll.  Additionally I do not like the added information (additional reasons) at the end. It seems forced to get the content to 1,000 characters.

To give the sushi burrito its proper introduction,  I asked Bard to rewrite the article to be more humorous. The first iteration was bad so I did a refresh and got something a little better.

 

Whereas it is not humorous it is a more personable introduction that focuses more on the sushi burrito. I am going to take this introduction and pair it with the original article and take out the extra junk at the end. If I wanted to make the article longer I could ask Bard to write paragraphs about specific things. For example. Write a two paragraph summary about the history of Sushi Burritos.

However, there will not be much competition in Google for my keyword so I am okay with the slightly smaller article.

How To Make A Blog Post In WordPress

Now that we have our content we need to make a post in WordPress. To do this go to the dashboard of your website and find POSTS and then click ADD NEW.

This will open up the post editor. In the editor you should add a title first and then copy and paste your AI written content. Make sure to bold section headings to help break up the text.

 

You should also put an image in the post to break up the text. I used an image that was already in the gallery and I made it left aligned.

 

Lastly you should fill out the SEO Title and Meta description to reflect the important keywords of your post:

After that you can hit publish.
