How To Fix A WordPress Site That Won’t Load – 503 Error –  Google Cloud Bitnami

One issue you may experience with Google Cloud Hosting Of A Bitnami WordPress website is that your site may stop loading out of nowhere.

I will show you one possible fix for this that may save you some time.

First make sure you are logged into Google Cloud.

Then go to Compute Engine and select VM Instances.

Finding your instances in Google Cloud

 

The first thing you need to do is to make sure your instance is running.  If your account was suspended by Google Cloud for possible malware then you will need to manually restart your instance. Make sure the status is a green checkmark. If not select the box next to your instance and click the start button at the top. The last thing you need to do (whether or not you restarted your instance is the click the Refresh button as shown below). After that, wait about 5 to 10 minutes and reload your website.
